Many of the tracks above were big hits of that year and it was during this time we were beginning to see the true talent of Andy Blueman. In my opinion the guy who started that unique blend of Classical music and Uplifting Trance, later to be called Orchestrance. A new genre all by itself that is still being produced today.

A Way of Life Ep.59 (Best of 2010)

The first set of this month. Part of my personal favorite tracks from each year. We started with 2008 and now it is the turn of the year 2011. 

A good year for trance music but a very sad year for my country. I will never forget it. The music in this episode is a welcome escape from the memory for me and my family and what we lost that awful year. 

This episode is dedicated to the memory of my cousin Noriko. She died during the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami that year. She would be 30 years old today.

Nickon Faith is a 23 year old up and coming producer from Manchester. Nickon has had music play a driving force for most of his life, and took to production at around 2015, building up a repertoire of lush melodic techno and progressive deep house productions as his signature genre. However, also touching on a variety of influences from the likes of breakbeat and industrial techno. Nickon Faith has been honing his craft over the years and has started sculpting a distinct sound for himself as a producer that marries atmosphere, ambience and energy in the form of lush progressive soundscapes, breakbeats and dense acid basslines.

Nickon Faith is going to spread some of his work with the track 'Release Me', a great track full of power and to complement this huge track, Carlos Pires, Eleven of July and Zaria gave us three amazing remixes.

--------------Kaori Kataoka hails from Tokyo, Japan. She discovered Trance music when she was introduced to it by a European friend she met who was visiting her country. Ever since then she has fallen in love with this genre, but it is with the sub-genre of Uplifting and Orchestral Trance that she cherishes the most. Japan is a rising nation for Trance music now with artists like Hiroki Nagamine, Shintaro, Hiroyuki ODA, Masaru Hinaiji and more.  Kaori started her podcast "A Way of Life" on Soundcloud to show her love and support for this music because she strongly believes that beautiful things should be shared across the world. 

Trance music has a small community especially when one compares it to other electronic genres such as House or Dubstep and it is rare indeed to see a female Trance producer from Japan so it is with great surprise and joy that we have such a talented and enthusiastic young woman from Japan flying the flag of her country.
