Kickstarting the year by announcing the second volume of soak compilation long play to be released January, 23 💦

32 tracks crept up like an uncontrolled desire of getting tattooed over and over again. soak body is etched with a (s)extensive selection of self-recognition-evoking music by musicians & sound producers across the globe. Raw or refined, recorded live, carefully produced, (un)processed or playfully generated, the diversity of sound and approach eventually point at something intimate: the ‘how to be’. A shared ‘something’ we truly celebrate together via media at hand 🎧

Eternally grateful to each n every participant for making this blessed collection alive and about to reach the audience.

@fgnouh’s sonic-base is Nuremberg, a place where to delve fresh musical discoveries together with the rest of @signal-weltfunk collective-label members. While holding to the “very close knit subculture community” part of the Bavarian city, this talented artist is an active member of @aedirecords, has released tunes on @regrets_regrets, @area127,  @alternaivelabel and recently performed to the very last @omenwapta’s weekender in Amsterdam. This mix recorded for us breaches as an alchemical arcane, merging cinematic atmospheres and industrial frameworks, drawing obscure elements of ambients and techno out of something that feels calmly overwhelming.
