He's already had his share in the very first release on the label, collaborating with Carlo on the opener of that very EP. Now it's his turn to single-handedly inspirit a whole EP-length - and what an uplifting and invigorating spirit that is! The Amsterdam based producer lays down three cuts of deep, jazzy, soulful, just heavily vibing House splendour, so effortlessly intuitive, so musically refined, so instantly buzzing with verve and energy, they will be turning heads and moving feet all on their own.

Palmiara, the side project of Poland-based DJ/producer Antoni Sierakowski, brings his first release under the alias to HOMAGE, turning in three colourful originals with Running Back honcho Gerd Janson stepping up for remix duties.

Throughout the EP, Palmiara delivers his kaleidoscopic vision of Balearic pastel tones, crafting feel-good house jams custom-built for the summer. Title cut ‘Mt. Paradiso’ kicks off the release with a barrage of marimbas, scratches, and cheeky synths tied together by a 4/4 rhythm and slap bass before ‘Jaszczurka Zwinka’ follows suit, with loose percussion and guitar licks swirling around soaring organs and twisted acid lines.

On the flip, ‘Surfin’’ marries rubbery bass and Latin-esque drums for a playful and off-kilter trip. Taking the B2 spot, Gerd Janson expands on Palmiara’s ‘Surfin’’ for his ‘Acid Tribe Balearic Full Moon Mix’, adding squelching low end and glistening pads to the mix for an additional dose of psychedelic house.

Silky smooth house vibes from Retromigration as you would imagine. Intricate synth & sax riffs combine with perfectly timed vocal snippets to give a lush A side that wouldn’t feel out of place on KDJ.
The Earl Jeffers remix adds a bit more beef to the situation, bringing chunky Omar S style kicks for a dubbed out chunkier rework of the original. ‘Stop the Presses’ is an anthem! Ridiculous vocal work and smooth as you like shuffled beats provide the perfect setting for an absolute summer slayer. ‘You & Dion’ jacks the tempo up a notch and uses arpeggiated bass-lines and classic Retromigration wind instrument sounds to amazing effect.
