José Fernández, Resident Madrid - Spain 🇪🇸

He started his career as a Dj when he was only 13 years old, 1989.

At that time I started as assistant to the main Dj of the Discoteca Trazos in my town, at that time everything was played with vinyls, LP’s, Maxi and mini discs. This club would later change its name to Discoteca Flax, there I started a great teaching with Carlos Dj, a great master in the booth, a showman, where I would learn the mixing techniques. All musical styles were played, the psychological in the booth was vital.
Years later I spent a year as resident DJ at the after Rock and Roll, disco Caracacho, it was a great experience at musical, sonorous and cultural level.

In 1994 I moved to the city of Vigo where I was DJing in Titanic, that’s where I started to experience the techno music that I like today, at that time there were some locals who played only that style of music there I started to buy my first Techno vinyl's.

In 1999 I moved to the Canary Islands, my brother Dj Deneb and I started to buy vinyls from the peninsula, there I was resident DJ in Dusk Till Down, Dj Café, Bambú House Café, Flower, Discoteca Club Xitio, Ministri of Sound, besides participating in Raves and organizing events, sharing booth with national and international DJs and Producers.

Years later I move to Madrid, in Madrid with my colleague Mario YL I move from “analog” vinyl to digital, together we share booth in Buda.

Thanks to my colleague Mario YL, I meet Oskar, Antxon and Paco Hiddeminside artistic director of MAXXIMIX Play Live and I am with them almost two seasons as a weekly resident DJ on the Radio, besides collaborating with my colleague Marcel Strömer from Radio Kosmos in Germany.

Currently I combine my hobby “music” with my profession and my family.
Music for me is my passion, a way of life and I continue to create, now I focus on Streaming, hand in hand with a Master of the Greats of this country BASSDRUMDJ in OPERATION ROOM with Jorge Silva.
