All of these mixes have brought me fulfillment, solace, gratitude, and enjoyment. They helped me express myself when I struggled to find the words. Music is my compass and it’s helped me find the light in the darkest of places. Now, I’m at a point in my life where I must navigate a new horizon. My career is taking me in a different direction and I have to dedicate my time and energy to this next adventure. I’m not sure when I’ll be back to share more music, but I promise to be back eventually! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sticking around this long. I wouldn’t have stayed if it wasn’t for your love and positivity. It has been an absolute pleasure to share amazing music by all of these inspiring artists. This last mix echoes all the ups and downs I’ve been feeling these past few months, but ultimately ends with a message of hope. Jared Lucas (stage name Kap Slap) is most notably known for his mashups, mixes and original music. He built his sizable following as a touring DJ while finishing an Honors Integrated Business and Engineering degree from Lehigh University. 

Performing at universities and clubs across the country, the multitalented college-student-turned-DJ broke through thanks to his mashups and mixes – infusing the energy and groove of electronic dance music with everything from current pop hits to Motown classics. Kap Slap has since performed at major festivals, including KAABOO, Hangout Music Festival, Snow Globe, Made in America, Firefly Music Festival, as well as countless top venues and nightclubs.
