After his recent release on the amazing label Exploited, David Body is back on Melopee !!! And he brings with him two powerful Italo House gems !“Haunted House” is a perfect rollin’ track. As always, David proves his sense of the dancefloor with a track for the peak time. Keeping the Italo vibes, he delights in an uncompromising piece, dancing, efficient. Come on ! Although slightly calmer, the title “Salt Swing” still keeps a dancefloor spirit. The piece is carried by a perfect piano riff, enhanced by a beautiful Italian spirit. Smile on your lips. The party continues! We are happy to welcome Hoochie Coochie Papa again. This time for a remix slowing down the original track “Haunted House” and adding a more rock, darker side. The Mexican Roswell Brothers are also back. After releasing their superb Kim Wilde edit, they delivered a cogent remix of “Salt Swing” inspired by Rock and Trance. The masked man perfectly brings a darker touch to the original. To close the release, we are happy to welcome the Belgian duet Marching Machines.

PREMIERE : Low Manuel - Baffo (Darlyn Vlys Remix)

Roam alumni Silicodisco returns to Roam with Spanish compatriot Xácome with three original tracks to form the Estas Loco EP. All three tracks bring a strong psychedelic post-wave sound forward, starting with Rusty Grass - a low-slung gritty yet dreamy offering. The title track Estas Loco carries the stripped-down 80s synth themes found throughout the EP. Mind Panic fits perfectly taking the vibe further with its rolling bass and ethereal soundscapes. Rounding out the EP is an excellent remix from Chinaski.

After releasing interesting works for well established labels as Nein or Sincopat, valencian producer Mundo D (@mundo-d) presents "You Want it Back" EP in the spanish imprint Espacio Cielo (@espaciocielo).  Indie Dance meets EBM, Rave music and air snares in each of the original cuts, achieving a perfect balance that invites you to go wild on the dance floor.  The remixes are done by Barko and label boss Parissior, who performs "You Want it Back" in a Dark Disco version that is getting rave reviews. On sale September 2.

"Eyes On Karman" and ears on Sylphomatic! The very first EP of the shamanic electro music duo from Brussels comes dressed to impress! Through five high-quality original cuts, the lads introduce their talent and creativity to the Indie Dance/Dark Disco community with their solid debut on the mighty NEIN Records. Just don't think this is their first rodeo: Previously, they had been quite active on their personal Bandcamp having released some exclusivities on their own.      

Now, with their multi-genre EP, they successfully managed to combine a truckload of their main influences and deliver their vision of what dance-floor-oriented themes must embody.

The one we were solicited to premiere, for instance, opens the EP with a wicked and impish approach. A temperamental theme that combines a sexy vocal hook with retro-futuristic synth leads & layers with a pulsating bassline resulting in a Post-Punk-infused beauty.

To mark the release of all 17 remixes of Plaisir de France's debut album, '#20', the Frenchman serves up some fantastic reworks featuring Damon Jee, Tim Paris, Badknife and Polocorp (among others).
Plaisir de France is well known for his remixes and collaborations with the best of the new French pop scene.
He has worked with everyone from Regina Demina and Bertrand Belin to Arnold Turboust or Barbara Carlotti and his debut album from 2021 featured 27 collaborations that explored everything from club sounds to introspective home listening, dark grooves to happy house.
Now the pleasure of the album is extended with 17 remixes, two of them will be released as single before the album.

PREMIERE | Plaisir De France Ft. The Chauffeur - Sur La Piste (Badknife Remix) [Plaisir de France]

We’ve all experienced this feeling of awakening after a party, with a foggy mind, a pasty mouth, and hardly any memory of what happened the night before. Sometimes you don’t even know what is that place you just woke up in. But one thing is for sure, you had a blast last night !

With “Penser Avec Ses Pieds”, Myrddin and Alassë put some words and melodies on this peculiar feeling of awakening. Sounding like an homage to the glorious days of Chagrin d’Amour, or some other ephemeral French new wave projects, this track takes us back to the mild days of the 80s, when you could just sing about dancing, and cigarette smoking.

This one comes in 3 versions, so everyone can find his favorite one. The italo vocal mix is carried by Alassë’s voice, almost in a spoken word way, recalling the mood of the classic 80s french hit “Chacun fait (c'qui lui plaît)”. The dark mix takes a more rock and cold wave turn, but still tells the same story. And for those who don’t like vocals in their italo, we got you covered with the instrumental mix !
