Pool Max Blue

"Pool Max Blue" is a tribute to David Hockney and his iconic swimming pool paintings, especially "Big Splash." The song combines the aesthetic of blue waters with an emotional message about separation. The moment when the protagonist discovers the other person is leaving symbolizes a deep dive, filled with uncertainty but also hope for a new beginning. Hockney's blue tone emphasizes the intensity of emotion and the new, unknown space into which the protagonist immerses himself. Hank Rusch's new single, "Laid To Waste," tells the story of a man blissfully aware that he's just another conquest in a woman's lustful pursuit. Undeterred, he is drawn like a moth to a flame, finding himself unable to resist the pull of her vortex of passion. The song is rich with references to addiction, highlighting the compulsive nature of his desire. Hank’s growly vocals sound even grittier on this track, as if there's an extra cubic yard of gravel adding raw intensity to his voice. "SurAlicja" is a journey into the world of surrealism, combining elements of "Alice in Wonderland" and the work of René Magritte. The title is a play on words that combines "surrealism" and "Alice." The lyrics evoke the magical, often absurd atmosphere of "Alice in Wonderland," where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur. At the same time, we incorporated a motif from Rene Magritte's painting "The Lovers," where the characters' faces and heads are wrapped in white cloth, symbolizing mystery and the concealment of truth. The combination of these two inspirations creates a dreamlike atmosphere. The piece prompts reflection on the boundaries of imagination and reality.
