Veiveris, a versatile artist hailing from Kaunas, Lithuania, treads the fine line between the somber and the eerie. His latest endeavor, the "Jūrmylė" EP, represents his third release, offering a unique blend of four tracks characterized by EBM-inspired basslines and haunting darkwave rhythms. Notably, Veiveris has taken a creative leap by introducing his own vocals and experimenting with lyrical content.

Today, we're thrilled to unveil one of the EP's standout tracks, "Gelbekit," which translates to "help" in English. Accompanying this release is an official music video that visually complements the haunting soundscape. The term "postczłowiek" (or "posthuman" in English) rethinks what it means to be human, viewing us as part of a bigger, interconnected world rather than its center. This multidisciplinary field invites us to reconsider the boundaries of humanity in an era of rapid technological and ecological change. In line with these themes, Robodrum kicks off the No Photo Policy release cycle with a mini-album in his typical electro-style, combining dark vocoders with fast, saturated beats, reflecting the futuristic and transformative spirit of posthumanism.

Drawing inspiration from the 80's subculture, the moody allure of the Neue Deutsche Welle, the seminal post-punk sounds of Britain, decadentist literature and experimental electronics, among others, Contes Cruels crafts their sound, characterized by minimalist compositions, vintage gear and evocative, cold lyrics. 

Venturing into the realms of hauntology, exploring the pervasive sense in which contemporary culture is haunted by the "lost futures" of modernity—those futures that never materialized or were eclipsed by the tides of postmodernity—the duo embodies this spectral presence in their debut EP, Séance.
