It‘s been a while since I‘ve perform live in front of people. My last gig was in autumn 2022 at Stereobar. Years of experience, music knowledge, performances and sampling technique are all combine with a vibe to dance and to listen to. The beats gives visceral energy to move and It‘s also a blend of all of what I want to hear when I‘m dancing. It‘s a return to basic, to pure beats with a bit of house and techno and a lot of strange punctuating sounds to keep the listener aware. All music made are all composed by Charles Fortier and made for this live performance at Stereobar, September 6th 2024.

Karim Yousry is a veteran in the Egyptian DJ scene, having been a driving force since the early 2000s. Additionally, his remix for Francesca Lombardo’s “Wanna Dance” was selected as one of the winning entries in the prestigious Echolette remix competition, further cementing his reputation as a creative force in the electronic music scene.
