Kariz85 is a Hip Hop music artist out of Atlanta, GA. Born in Lake Village Arkansas, as a little boy he always had a passion for music and knew that music was what he was meant to do. Music was life, everything he did involved music, he even got a scholarship for music. Pledging Kappa Alpha psi in spring 04 his line name was Karisma due to his great charm and appealing acts it suited him just well.

After attending University of Monticello, Kariz decided to move to Atlanta to pursue his dreams in music. While in Atlanta he found lots of success and had a great team behind him, he was signed to AUPI Recordings and IMG Universal and took his line name Karisma and turned it into Kariz as he jumped into his fresh start into the music business.

Along the road to a successful career, came struggles…Kariz says him and his friends traveled up and down highway 85 in GA doing shows, selling cd's whatever could be done to boost his career. He says he was always being profiled back then being stop buy cops numerous times for silly things. He stats he even got pulled over one time for his factory tint being too dark on his car and got fined and then his friends said we should call you Kariz85 because you always getting in trouble on hwy 85 in GA. It stuck to him and he ran with it and that is how he came up with his unique name Kariz85.

Some of his influences include multi platinum artist like OutKast, Nas, Pimp C and Tupac. Thats what he grew up listening to and likes the messages and pain these artist went through to there road to success, it reminds them of him he say's. Artist now days he would like to work with in the future would include J Cole, Nipssey Hussle, Curren$y, Kevin Gates and Zayne Malik.

Being faced with incarceration as a black man for something he never did, fighting for his life to prove his innocents he definitely has a big story to tell. With Success comes troubles but its what you do with the obstacles along the way that sets you aside and Kariz has definitely proved that no one can stop him and he wants to share his story and talents with the world.

Now Kariz has decided to take his career to the next level and with that came his move to Los Angeles. He is ready to take on LA and show the city of dream what he’s made off. So watch out for the next big name in music... Kariz!

Kariz began networking and came into contact with the founder/owner of Zobe, Alonzo Black, who saw the potential in this talented individual and who signed Kariz to an Exclusive deal with independent-major label Zobe Records. Kariz immediately began enhancing his artist development with Zobe and has been increasing his exposure, promotions, marketing, booking, fan base, and his image. Currently Kariz is working towards becoming successful music artist, performer, and writer in the industry while continuing to learn as much as he can about his craft. Kariz is currently promoting a few songs and is in the studio working on a few singles, an EP, and a full length LP album that will be released under Zobe Records along with a few music videos so look out for this outstanding artist who will be featured in Zobe Magazine and on Zobe TV Network as well. Kariz has a nice buzz within the industry, he has a lot of eyes on him, and he is ready to take his music career to the new heights!
