Soar High

#deb is a dark song. 

The name comes from the hashtag used on social media to find people suffering from depression (hence the cover image with a robot in trouble).

The first part of the song was composed for an Instagram reel using Renoise software(link for the video at the end). A few months later, the idea was revisited in Ableton Live and the result can be heard in this track.

A mid-tempo indie rock journey through the hazy landscape of the past. This is a song about how we revisit old moments, and how they shift and change with every telling as they travel through the dust of time. The lyrics explore how nostalgia can be both comforting and deceptive, but ultimately they are about accepting the binding aspects of the past and letting go, whilst embracing the beauty of the human experience and finding solace in the present.
