Oxen Butcher burst onto the scene in January of last year with his first track which was given away as a free download with it immediately supported by BBC Introducing, this quickly followed by his first official release ‘Love & Happiness EP’, which proceeded to be a Beatport Chill Out No.1.

The second EP also went top 3 on Beatport’s Chillout chart and was again supported by BBC Introducing. His next single ‘Walking On The Sun’ was playlisted on Tiesto’s AFTR:HRS Spotify playlist.

And now there’s ‘I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free’.  Music lovers will recognize it from the original by legendary singer Nina Simone, but Oxen Butcher has truly made it his own together with the beautiful vocals from Bonnie Rabson.
