Fernando a.k.a. WAIO is back on radiOzora – this time under the flag of 24/7 Records.

With the an artistic drive to create music encoded into his DNA, the half Brazilian, half Portuguese Fernando Seca has become a revolutionary electronic musician. After learning to play the violin at the age of six, he hungered for something more; and at the age of thirteen he discovered electronic music.
At seventeen years of age, he decided his sound was ready for the global scene, after invited to play on The Gathering Festival in Japan (one of the biggest trance festivals in Asia). From this point forward he has been performing at the best parties and music festivals all around the world, along side the most respected pioneers of the psychedelic music scene.

His mature style, and “outside of the box” approach to psychedelic trance music production has gathered him a great deal of praise in the scene; being recognized as a prodigy of electronic music by many artists and labels alike working more then 10 years as solo-artist. ‘Waio’ has become synonymous with high quality, professional studio standard, music production; and has collaborated with many of today’s leading psychedelic musicians.

Many of his latest releases including his EP ‘Symbolika,’ and his single ‘How To Psytrance’ have reached the top of Beatport music sales charts, and continue to do so today with every new release.

Each live set is created using his own unique software called ‘WAIO CONTROL,’ based on the Reaktor platform, and made exclusively to enhance his live performances; allowing him to craft each show into a unique, intelligent, psychedelic experience!

Next up in 24/7 series is non other than MADMIND.

Born in 1987, Fabien aka Madmind discovers electronic music when he was 13 years old thanks to the radio. He eventually enters this peculiar world by musical discoveries such as Prodigy, Laurent Garnier, Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Hallucinogen and many more…
He then finds the need to express his emotions through musical experiments, which is why at a young age; he starts to compose on amateur software. Simultaneously he discovers the peculiar universe of rave parties with his fist hard core and techno nights; those are what will bring him to buy two platinum decks at 16 years old. He starts to mix on tech-house, drum’n’bass and trance music principally.

Progressively he explores the psy-trance universe with its rich psychedelic tracks and highly coloured sounds. It’s the need for energy, space and evasion that motivates him to stick with this style a little while after, as well as in mixing and in composing, but he also still stays open to new kinds of music. He goes to his first psy-trance gigs through the Electrohm association which will get him gigs of his own. One of which will be at their own festival… His psychedelic DJ sets are very energetic and refreshing which will eventually convince his audience in bars, raves, frees, radios and festivals.

In 2007, composing music becomes an obsession and after having learnt the bases of the sound synthesis and partly due to his studies in acoustics, he produces his own pieces on professional software such as Cubase and Nuendo.

At the end of 2008 year, he goes to London and makes dj gigs into the clubs. Then, he discovers new styles and new atmospheres which will expand his approach of mix and composition. After going back to France, he releases several tracks on Australian and French labels. He tries new styles such as break beat, minimal, techno… Constantly looking for new sounds, he makes music with a free and eclectic state of mind!
