The Karmatic are a band electro-acoustic or more specifically techno -acoustic , born with the idea of merging two apparently distant worlds: the music of Underground and Techno matrix, with that of the matrix Acoustic Jazz .
The trio consists of the historical dj from m2o radio Paolo Bolognesi (the conductor) another dj from m2o Seismal D (live electronics and synthesizers) and in the end the Jazz musician Valerio Vantaggio (drums and percussion).
The nature of the project involves an extreme interconnection between sound elements generated, both from electronic synthesizers and acoustic drums, dosed and managed by Paolo Bolognesi like a real conductor. The soundscape is dominated by rhythmic structures related to culture and dub techno but with solos and rhythmic actions of acoustic drums, electronic processes that through, it becomes one with the background below.
Seismal D with his experience in the world of computer music, deals to colorize this world with strong rhythmic, with sounds and ambients that transform the soundscape, apparently closed and dark, in a dynamic and deep trip. Karmatic describes a spiritual bond accessible through music.
