Shantifax is the psychill-project from Klaus Balzarek (Italy). Klaus has a musical background as a guitarplayer in a Indie-Rock-band (Zeugshmitz) more than 20 years. Additional to this, he is also djing the world as DJ TINTIFAX since more than 15 years and shared the stage already with many big names of the scene. His love for relaxed psychedelic sounds finds expression in the projectSHANTTIFAX. Through his amazing combination of analog and digital sounds, influenced by his unique guitar-playing, he found his particular sound and already released 5 Shantifax-albums for free. He also released on different international compilations and created exclusive dj-sets for internet-radiostations.SHANTIFAX-LIVE is a complete band with live-instruments as guitar, percussions and didgeridoo. The mainfocus is based on Organic Trance, the group played many concerts over the last 7 years, also on bigger international events like Blackmoon-Festival in Italy and Vibronica-Festival in Ukraine.Through the actual colaboration with the Label Reson8, Shantifax opens a new chapter and shows with the first EP sub til his interpretation of contemporary psychill: deep, spheric sounds combined with groovy beats and seductive melodies.

Welcome to the second chapter of Trancentral's new "Out of the Box" monthly mixes series, where Psytrance artists/DJs will feature a mix of music people are not expecting to hear from them. We're here to open people's minds and break patterns and "boxes" - how can it be psychedelic if there are formulas, rules and expectations? 

For our second episode we are hosting non other than Yoni Oshrat, widely known as Ace Ventura, one of psytrance's most established DJs and musicians. Yoni has been releasing psytrance for 20 years already, starting as part of PsySex & Children of the Doc and then branching out to his own project - Ace Ventura - with which he has been rocking dancefloors globally in any possible scale. He also releases and plays other electronica and downtempo as Schatsi & Schatsi in Dub. 

What he had to say about it:
"I love making sets for people to enjoy in their cars, on their mobiles and in their homes, and I do a lot of those... But then came Trancentral, with a request to make a different kind of mix, one that would surprise, challenge and take the listener to territories he wouldn't expect from me. The result is a two hours journey from 90 to 180 BPM, covering a lot of styles and genres, from abstract downbeat electronica, ambient, dub and retrowave, to Zenonesque prog, disco psy, night time forest and even some hi-tech spice on top of it all. My goal was to have a good flow between all of this, and to keep it interesting, groovy, and most importantly, always psychedelic. I hope you enjoy the ride."

Digital Om Productions label manager, DJ NISHAN is back on radiOzora with a fresh DJ set.

NISHAN is a Kathmandu/Copenhagen based Nepali Psy Progressive & Full On DJ from label DIGITAL OM PRODUCTIONS. Nishan’s love for Psy music all started after his first trip to Goa in 1995 at the age of 16. His love and interest in Psy trance music began after he heard the classic hits, in the 90’s, from Astral Projection, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen. Self taught, Nishan started playing at small private parties for his friends and in 2002 got himself started with professional gigs in clubs and open air parties within Nepal, Goa and Europe. As a promoter and one of the main organizers of the Mountain Madness Festival aka Universal Religion (located in the magical hills of Nepal) and is also one of the first Nepali active DJs to perform in Goa and Europe. Having promoted Trance Music amongst the youths in the country since the late 90s. It all became achievable due to the support of his friends and family. His biggest influence and inspiration was Riktam GMS and Max Peterson aka Mad Max. He is also thankful to his brother from another mother Nishan Sankhe from india, founder of Digital Om Productions, for giving him full support and love, helping for his success in his musical career.

Spectra Sonics - Planet Species

From the UK but spend more time living or travelling abroad. 

I have a strong preference for full on, driving, uplifting, melodic psy trance but mix and experiment with all styles of psychedelic music. As well as performing DJ mixes I have recently started producing my own tracks.

Have previouisly played at festivals accross Europe, currently focusing on DJing online inside VRChat.
