SLINK (@simisea, @turiyarrao, @itsenayet, and @kwatakwata) went b4b all night at our favorite club Nowadays on Jan 21st. Without a doubt, one of the most fun sets we've ever played and the dancers were riding the wave with us the entire night.

This is us in peak party mode! We couldn't figure out where to start and stop this recording, and ultimately decided, let's just post the whole thing :)

around the time we were approached for potentially participating in the resistance edition of rave cafe, resistance has been a topic we have been often talking about so we felt naturally compelled to take a shot at putting together a mix for this project. we put together a story using speeches and music we have collected over the years that addresses our thoughts and emotions behind the topic of resistance. 

we wanted to address our thoughts on how we can practice resistance in a complex world that implements systems designed to keep us conditioned and brainwashed. When a place is heavily polluted or exposed to high amounts of radiation, heavy metals, and toxins - sunflower fields are planted as they absorb the toxins and clean the air that's been polluted, we wanted to symbolize the detoxification of the world from its pollutants.
