Spirited Away - Name of Life (Piano)

Instrumental piece aiming for Zappa, but ended up channeling Ozric Tentacles. 
Tune is in 5/4, but mainly played with triplets (with some polymeters providing rhythmic contrast). Mainly Phrygian, mode but with some chromatic/atonal stuff.

Spirited Away Soundtrack - The House at Swamp Bottom (Numa no Soko no le)

Ten directions is a Eastern cosmogony’s term that means "in all directions throughout the space." These directions are the eight of the compass: east, south-east, south, southwest, west, north-west, north, north-east, plus the Nadir – to the down - and Zenit - at the top.  These "Ten directions" are often matched to past, present and future to describe the set of all places – Ten Directions - and times - Three Times.
 At any time and in any place existed a sound that awakens and resonates at a specific emotional state. A call that is heard and collected by those who were looking for it for a long time and in any direction.
 
While playing or composing, I take refuge into myself, directing the sound through the ten directions of space. Then, I let my thoughts meander both in the internal direction, the innerself, and in the outer, the discovery and the meeting. The union of these two states arouses emotion, subtle matter that can be felt by those who are listening and are on the same frequency and in tune.

 The launch of the thought starts from the silence, and then, one key after another, starts moving and traveling through the air like an arrow into space. The sound is without obstacles, in the ten directions, and resonates through the invisible world of vibrations. Announces itself and enters the inner space. It comes to ears, the hearing organ, and shakes all the other senses. It kidnaps, touch the nerve centre and pervades us. It meets and joins up with something that is already there, and is welcomed as it was expected all along.

 The sound is clear, it radiates and spreads everywhere, and comes back, in a two-way process, creating contact points and unexplained bridges. Is a dimension that affects and charms because we recognize it, surprised and excited at the same time. As a light, it illuminates hidden areas through the mind and the heart, and reaches the deepest part of our inner. The listener and the player finds themselves alive in a sensitive state, and this sharing creates the communion, the union of sound and spirit, music and noise away from fiction, which dwells always and everywhere in the ten directions.

Wind Song

The piece, born from the collaboration between Vicenzo, who uses his new alias Piano For Your Soul, and Francesco Adornetto, invites the listener to immerse themselves in an inner journey filled with emotional nuances. The vibrant and suspended melodies reflect a balance between fragility and resilience, symbolising tears that are not only a sign of sorrow but also of transformation and hope.

This composition unfolds as a story without words, a dialogue between two artistic souls exploring the infinite with keys that sing and sighs that dance between the lines. Visual and musical art intertwine in a work that celebrates the hidden beauty of the deepest emotions.

This artwork, titled Tears of Eternity, embodies the delicacy of a piano piece that evokes profound melancholy and intimate beauty. Creating a dialogue between ethereal flowers, faded sheet music, and a stylized piano, the image reflects the emotional flow and the passage of time.

Lisa Hannigan - Flowers

My musical Journey, begin earlier at school, and passed trough an Light Orchest, a tradicional folk band and some other projects. 
All of them have given me the experience in some of the most played instruments in a band (Drums, Bass, Guitar and piano).
With this projects, I also have learn, that even when you love music
above all, sometimes is dificult to keep some projects, there must be
among the members a big affinity.
No one is equal, and that makes all the diference.
In "Submersus" there are no external factors, excuses and wills. The ideas start to flow, getting form, and when finished, they are putted
here, to everybody listen, and share.
It's true that some of them, still sound a little rough, but it is only because I'm starting now to manage my homestudio, and what seems to be easy it's converting to a big headache.
 "Submersus" in similarity with the name, intend to be something submerion,
occult, hidden to be found.
The fantasy world and the Esoterism are the main subjects of the lirycs. 
The gotic, melancolic and sometimes meditative sound, reveal subtly images and  hidden feelings locked in the Soul.
Limited to the one and only musician composer, this project has no structure to
live shows, but that's how intent to be.
I hope you enjoy, like me, but if you don't, friends anyway.
No one is forced to hear something that doesn't like.
