Lewis Lane - Hunter

"Jeremus," is a three - time #1 Billboard Dance charting Electronic Music producer and DJ, from Orlando, Florida.

He began his endeavor in music production around the year 2000 after hearing the Crystal Method for the first time on the radio and acquiring a piece of synthesis software called "Rebirth." Along with the heavy influence of Pop and Soul music, combined with a love for playing the piano, this became a way for him to present what was in his head, with an edge. The love affair began.

"I have always had a keen intuition for melodies that don't necessarily exist yet in a song, I discovered I wanted to be a producer when I found convert others' "visions" into musical form. Putting together the pieces on a project is not only fun for me, but challenging and very rewarding."

Thirteen years later, a gigantic opportunity presented itself (on Twitter) when Jeremus was called out by Electronic Music Legend "BT" to open for him at a show. Later, he would also form what is now a long time collaboration with Grammy Nominated producer and friend “Bill Hamel, " which gave Jeremus his first shot at the Billboard charts. 

There are some exciting projects ahead such as Jeremus' first ever release on Major Dance Label - Black Hole Recordings titled "I Need You," on the same remix ticket as artists such as the legendary Donald Glaude; he was also given the opportunity to prepare original remixes for Carmen Electra and teamed up with Bill Hamel once again to remix the timeless vocal tone of Duran, Duran's lead singer John Taylor with their remix of the track titled "C'est Tout Est Noir." 

In early 2013 Jeremus was selected to be the premiere artist for Warped Bridge Records with his debut release of the track titled "Boomerang," an indy label in the UK with world-wide distribution through Label Worx The label has a unique edge, as each of it's releases are available for download not just in Mp3 format but in separate parts for live remixing/mashup of each song. Needless to say, It is now full steam ahead for Jeremus.

"I put as much emphasis as I can on continuing education within the fundamentals of music, as well as, being open-minded to other genres, but will never dismiss the quality of good song form. Just because a person "makes stuff" doesn't make them a producer. Producers are masters of collaboration, design and workflow. The term producer is overused and underrated these days, but I am confident truth will prevail in hard work. 

Producing records is very challenging, lonely and time consuming; It's amazing to have all this technology at my fingertips, but usually my greatest moments are when I am limited by time, or by tools.

On Jeremus' iPod you'll find Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Robin Thicke, Depeche Mode, BT, and John Williams, I look to their creations for songwriting inspiration.

Limbo is a track I’ve been opening my sets with for the past couple shows. 

I made it during a strange time in my life when I was floating between several binaries relating to my career, relationship at the time, and self-esteem. It’s a frustrating time but also a sadly beautiful one that I hope a lot of people can relate to. 

This theme shaded many decisions that went into this release, like the repetitive motif that basically plays all throughout but reoccurs in very different ways. 

Limbo is both my hardest and most vulnerable track to date.

We absolutely love the original and were lucky enough to start working on this project prior to the songs release. We used a lot of the original elements from the original piece with some supporting background synths to blend in our style. We created a future bass chord drop that hits hard but also keeps the feels. This is an emotional track and we wanted to keep the mood similar while still keeping our sound at the forefront. Hope you like it!

The Weeknd - Privilege (Totally Others Remix)

The title says it all! Tove Stryke has an amazing voice and we were so excited about working on this one. We approached the song with a warm and airy feel (sonically) and pushed for a 'mellow' style using soft synths chords and lots of percussion. This song was designed to play live but fits perfectly on your playlist for long car rides or a chill hangout. Hoping it brings you all the GOOD VIBES :]

For our latest remix we did a dance/pop remake of 'Your Side of The Bed'. We found these vocals to be incredibly catchy so we saw an opportunity to make a 'feel good' summer jam that people could dance or chill to. The goal was to hybrid classic pop chords with our live drums and we had so much fun jamming to this track while in the studio! Hopefully this songs brings you good vibes and sunshine, ENJOY!
