DJMOK's journey through the world of music began behind the Iron Curtain, where his passion for beats and rhythms developed into a lifelong love affair with the art of DJing. In 1994, he took his first steps into the world of turntables, spinning the sounds of the '90s in East Germany's vibrant venues. His sets reverberated with the energy of an era experiencing newfound freedoms and musical expression.
The pivotal moment arrived in 2006 when DJMOK clinched the championship at the prestigious Bootleg DJ Contest in Rotterdam. This victory became a launchpad for his career, propelling him to the pulsating heart of the electronic music scene. For six years, Rotterdam became his creative haven, where he curated his own events, imprinting his signature style on the city's nightlife.
However, in 2013, DJMOK took a hiatus, retreating to his roots in Erfurt. This break became a period of reflection and recalibration, providing fresh inspiration for the next chapter of his musical odyssey.
Resurfacing in 2018, DJMOK embarked on a new chapter as part of the Karaktherz Crew in Erfurt. Under his new project moniker, TIEFENLIEBE aka DJMOK, he delved into the realms of Organi, Deep, and Progressive House. His sets evolved into a seamless blend of soul-stirring melodies and hypnotic beats, captivating audiences with their immersive and emotive journey.
With TIEFENLIEBE, DJMOK continues to craft sonic landscapes, drawing from his rich experiences and diverse influences. His soundscapes transport listeners, bridging the old and the new, inviting them to immerse themselves in the euphoria of his meticulously curated musical tapestries. In the heart of Erfurt, he found his creative sanctuary once more, weaving his sonic magic as an integral part of the city's vibrant musical tapestry.
