Not content with starting a war in 2019, Krucial and The Ragga Twins are back at the Kartoons hit factory with another EP full of aggression and top quality vibes.

Title track ‘Mad Again’ featuring The Ragga Twins hollas at the dance to engage their one foot skank, bust a little move, rinse and repeat. Bubbling from start to finish and as mad as the Government guidelines when visiting your Nan. ‘Gangsta’ is one twisty affair of pitch shifted bass, gunshots and hard steppin’ beats to your ear whilst ‘Came Alive’ turns on a batch of silky smooth pads, glorious FX and vocal stabs before Krucial goes all 2005 Clipz on us.

‘Just a Ride’ is a real mix of high and low emotions, delving into psychometric trips and providing a virtual reality of LSD induced vibes. If you feel like switching up your moves, this one is most certainly one to lose the plot to. New school vibes a run with ‘Live In The Jungle’ proving that Krucial really can flex with the best of them when it comes to diversity. Cheeky one note bass stabs will cause all types of head nodding and dance floor ruckus.

Disrupta is a name that’s stormed across the Drum & Bass scene in the past year picking up new fans with each new project and effortlessly sliding into new sub-genres. In 2020 Kieran (Disrupta) released his Deep Thoughts EP on Liquid V, a four track release that saw him explore a deeper, more musical side, in 2021 we now welcome him onto V Recordings for the next step in his journey.

The Changes EP is a four track project that spans across a selection of sub-genres whilst all being glued by the ‘Disrupta’ sound. The title track features Manchester vocalist DRS, a musician who needs little introduction and has worked with artists such as Children Of Zeus, dBridge and Marcus Intalex to name a few. ‘Wireless’ is a track sure to be on rotation when clubs back open, ’Tequila’ with J Select sees him delve even deeper into his tech side, and the project goes in full circle with ’Play It Cool’ falling into the same liquid vein as the title track.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Disrupta goes next as his musical pallet continues to develop, if this EP is anything to go by the experimentation is far from done.

Having a cameo appearance on 'Club Sessions Vol. 7', plus their first solo release on Liquid V ‘Step It To 'Em (Booyaka) / Run Dis’, Unkoded make their Chronic debut.

The ‘Selection Box’ EP is evidence of their shift towards a more dancefloor focused sound with amen-slapping tracks such as ‘Truss’ and ‘Inna Jungle’, but with tracks such as ‘Wax It’ showing they’re still dedicated on keeping the groove locked.

Respected artists within their own rights, Kodan and Unkut have previously released on major labels such as Ram, Solvent, Liquid V and Full Cycle and are now joining forces as 'Unkoded' to deliver their own take on soulful, rolling jungle.
