Some colleagues used to have a PC with FL Studio on it, which we often shared to capture some spontaneous brainwave while sitting together.
This project came out of just such a session, I can still remember it like it was yesterday.
I miss those days.

UNITED STATES OF EQUANIMITY(USOE) is a platform for the creative expressions of Roy Layer, who was born in Toronto, Canada and currently lives in Peterborough. 

USOE began in an analog home basement studio in 1987, which lasted until January 1989. The second digital home studio came together in 2012. 

All these recordings are essentially live spontaneous manifestations made using musical hardware.  Pre-recording loops of simple motifs with the Kaossilator Pro and Kaos Pad, and having access to multiple instruments at arm's length permits  a significant presence and versatility without losing touch with the immediacy of the moment.  

Art for art's sake.  U.S.O.E. is a non-commercial enterprise.  All tracks are free to download.  They may be freely used so long as credit is given.  Additional spontaneous collaborations with close friends are posted under the name "Space Patrol".

Implements of Realization: Korg Wavedrum, Korg Kaos Pad, Korg Kaossilator Pro, Korg R3 Synthesizer / Vocoder, Nord Electro 3 Samples, Organ & Piano, Access Virus Indigo II Simulated Analogue Synthesizer, Alesis SR18 Drum Machine, Yamaha Piano/Organ P155, Moog Theremini, Tascam DP-02 8 Track Digital Recorder, 12 Channel Mixer. A PC is used for post processing.

I am interesiert on the collaboration with other artists.

I try to make everyone the will part that was always denied to me . I hear basically everything that I like and Reposte . I regularly create playlists. This is not the order is crucial but the match . For me it's all about sound and quality

Project called name TR21 was born in year 1998, but that story has began much earlier. All started in the middle of 80's when TR21 performed many experiments with generating sounds on 8 bit personal computers like Timex 2048 or Atari 800 XL. Next phase was an experience in domain of design engineering - simple analog synthesizers and drum machines. After that TR21 began experiments with fitting and mixing analog cassete tapes. The culmination took place in early 90's, when he started an age of sampling and processing sounds thanks to techniques like: Covox, own invented A/D converter, personal computers PC AT class or very popular in this time tracker programs. At beginning of the 90's TR21 also was a member of a death metal band as a drummer and vocalist. Project became more stabile in his workshop in 1998 and kept on up until now in a little bit more innovated way. All is based on sequencer launched at PC class computer which control virtual VST devices and also external gear (MIDI & synthesizers). Everything is mixed in analog domain. Very often sources of sounds are electric guitar or human voice, which are transformed in totally different forms and functions into traditional musical order.
Influences of some very different music like : Kraftwerk, Art Of Noise, Yello, Bertrand Burgalat, Happy Mondays, The Fall, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Dub Pistols, Koma & Bones, Stereolab, Broadcast, Bowery Electric, Red Snapper, Bomb The Bass, DJ Cam, FSOL, Warp Records, IRMA Records, B-52's, Frank Black, Fear Factory, Napalm Death, Protector, Pitchshifter, ATR etc etc .......... and many very inspiring influences of music & movies from 60's and 70's years ......... :-)
