Since 1986 Mr.Balwinder singh (Ruby) as a small distributor and developed the relations with music company's and became the distributor of those companies like Tips, T-series, Time music etc. In 2004 Mr.Balwinder singh started a partnership firm with Mr.Dinesh Auluck. Speed Records Managing Director Ruby states, "Our main objective is to launch quality and standardised music with the best artistes and quality available for music lovers".

One of the landmark hits delivered by the label in 2006 was the album in collaboration with Jazzy B and A.S.Kang. Among the releases in the pipeline are solo albums by artists like Gurdaas Mann, Pakistani pop, bhangra and folk singer Abrar-ul-Haq, Pakistani singer Shazia Manzoor, UK based Bally Jagpal, Nachhattar Gill, Master Saleem of Dil da mamla fame and an album titled Brown Sugar.


Mr. Dinesh Auluck has been a manager of Jazzy-B from last 15 years and apart from managing his affairs had also produced albums for various companies. In 2004 Dinesh and Ruby with singer Jazzy b and Music director Sukhshinder Shinda started a firm and is now the leading Music company of Punjab.

Nearly 75% of all the Music Artists and Music Directors have cordial relations and in regular contact and have and/or are working with the company. A film by the title of "Mini Punjab" In which main Artist was "Gurdas Mann" in 35mm in 2009 was as a hit Punjabi film produced by Speed Records    
 
 

Mr.Satwinder Singh the Director of company has also played a big role in the success of the firm. He has been handling Production and Markting with dedication.Under the able of Mr. satwinder singh the firm has released near about 250 albums till date.
