Derek aka Kasb3rg started his journey in music in his late teens playing bass and guitar with friends who shared an enthusiasm for punk and metal music. As he attended more electronic shows such as Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto circa 2009 he followed the thread of dance music to DJ'ing local shows in his university town playing electro and progressive house. After an inspiring experiences at EDC and Dreamstate he started his own music podcast. Eventually he would go on to produce with a wide range of tastes from psytrance, to progressive, to tech house.
