Born in London UK, Paul 'BONES' (YARDROCK) is a UK based DJ, Producer, Promoter and Radio Manager / Presenter. Paul 'BONES' has been an active DJ since 1989 after his love for Electro and Break dancing was followed by the warehouse rave culture and acid house scene. which led to running pirate radio in the 1990’s. Playing his music up and down the country in clubs, fields and bars.  Paul 'BONES' has been a Presenter for uk based radio stations, a Selector for the Da Vinci Sound Collective and a Producer for Rcola’s Junglist Sound Project and Marvellous cains R-IQ Yardrock recordings, he also addresses label management duties event planning and promoting. Radio appearances on London UK and South East based stations, Paul 'BONES' continues to bring his love for Reggae and Jungle Drum and Bass and other music genre's to the airwaves and sound systems internationally.

Signed with various labels past and present including: Official remixes and projects featuring the late Gregory Isaacs, Freddie Mcgregor (BigShip Recordings), Bitty Mclean (Peckings Recordings). Worked on projects with Brother Culture, PsychoFreud, MC Co-Gee (Ragga Twins Crew), Marvellous Cain, Cause4Corncern, RCOLA, Curfew, Mighty Melody. After 6 years of bringing some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass to the city of Brighton, DARKLIGHT moved to Bristol in early 2011. Beginning with incredible success in 2004 with nights featuring Bad Company, SP:MC, D-Bridge, DJ Zinc, Bailey and Optical, following this DARKLIGHT quickly became a firm favourite within Brighton. After this, DARKLIGHT grew and grew and established itself in the Brighton Drum & Bass scene, from booking the well known headliners to more specialist liquid / dark djs, DARKLIGHT has brought some of the most talented and interesting names to Brighton including; DJ Marky, Andy C, DJ Friction, Commix, Lomax, DJ Zinc, Shy FX, Dillinja, Fabio, Mampi Swift, Randall, Teebee, Bailey, Peshay, Artificial Intelligence, Loxy, Keaton.... The list goes on!

Here’s a little about the mutated thumb shaped project.
You wouldn't think a collaboration from two chaps living in very different corners of the Britain would work. One residing in the pebble dashed charm of North Wales, the other hailing from the anonymous streets of South London. But the bastard child of PLAY and BASTIC seems to hold up nicely.
Plastic Thumbs pull all their influences from reggae, funk and the golden era of hip-hop. The duo have spent the last few years playing festivals and clubs separately, alongside acts such as Scratch Perverts, DJ Nu-Mark, The Nextmen, Mr. Scruff and many more, but have now pulled together with the same focus, colliding the buzz and crackling energy of dancehall with rhyme splattered beats and gut-wrenching low-end bass lines.

For those who don't know, Bizzy B's Brain label was one of the most futuristic in the early days when hardcore was becoming jungle. From 92-94 they released some of the best junglistic'ardcore there was. Classics like Darkness, Weekend, Dubplate Wars, 2 Dope ep, and artists like TDK whose TOG sublabel was a peak of amen choppage). Brain also put out the debut releases of Marc Caro (Technical Itch), Peshay and DJ Zinc (in the Swift and Zinc eps) and Slammin' Vinyl's Mike Slammer and Red Alert's first 2 releases. Bizzy also released many a classic on other labels such as Slowjam & DarkIII on Whitehouse, Stamina and Raw Dogs Relik on Suburban Base and many more. He's recently been producing 2-step and Breaks with his Undercover Agents label and still releases drum'n'bass under "Warped Science" (latest being 'After F' on Charge with DJ Fresh on the same ep). Brian's ep for us is a new update of the Old Skool sound "New Old School" if you will. Using todays production values so it'll kick in a drum'n'bass set in 04. As played by Andy C, Bailey et al...
