The project is inspired by Radio il Hai Beirut and Radio Alhuma Tunis, which were in turn inspired by Radio Quartiere Milano. .....a communal radio station/program/project, it begins in Bethlehem and Ramallah, and aims to extend to other places in Palestine and throughout the world, an open platform for listening, adding, discussing, and chatting. So we can all go through this time of solitude while communicating and reminding each other of each other. We hope this is the beginning of a collective space that will continue once this worldwide crisis is over. ⁣

We’re bringing the music back in the venue. We miss vibing and grooving together. The circumstances are different but the mindset remains the same. During these times we can only dance in our imagination and we want to nourish exactly that creative state of mind while respecting the rules.

Sixt Black and White Session with FreeJ Rumi. Founder of the successful collective Soul Rebels, also partner in Kasheme, will play records on Saturday night. The famous Willisau jazz festival, where he worked as a kid, made him familiar with the international and local jazz scene. Furthermore, he embraced many other music genres and scenes like the broken beat in Bristol, hip hop and trip hop.
