Founder of the Vortex parties and resident at the infamous Ved Siden Af club, the music of Neri J breaks the boundaries between techno and genres like acid and trance. Hard-hitting, with high intensity, and never resting in her delivery, these are the trademarks of one of Copenhagens's well-established hard dance DJs.

We're humbled to welcome Viscerale to the poddy archives ahead of her TM8 debut on 11th November. The Hamburg-born, Berlin-based artist knows how to command dancefloors worldwide, stealing our hearts with her fun, high-energy techno and trance grooves. Touring since 2018, Viscerale has played a starry array of spaces, spanning @etandetsted in Copenhagen—where she helms a residency—alongside Berghain/Säule, OHM, @foldldn and @about-blank-berlin, to name a few. Her sets ripple with emotive melodies and powerful drums, conjuring up an elated vibe on the dancefloor. Turn up TM8 #76 loud and get ready for our last party of the year this winter.

TM8 Q: What's your dream venue to play at?
A: "My dream venue right now would be Fold in London but for a peak time set! I've played a warmup set there in October and the space seems super promising."

Düsseldorf-based DJ and producer Valerie Ace is artist no. 38 to feature in our podcast series. Since the German artist released her debut EP "Glitzer Vs Hass" on SPFDJ's label @intrepidskin in February, Valerie has dived head-first into music production. Follow-up releases on @mamatoldya and @malaadh have snaked into her discography, amplifying her lithe sound within the technosphere. Valerie also heads up her own label, @hardwon-label, where she has shared more of her work alongside a release by Morocco-born producer Vel. In 2022, Valerie soundtracked FOLD, ÆDEN and broadcast her first Boiler Room from Berlin. Next year, she'll return to London for a specific event…somewhere in Tottenham. 👀 Keen to experiment and create her own sound designs, Valerie pays close attention to detail, whether she's DJ or producing. Her searing mix for us reflects this approach to a tee.

HTBX: EKATA

We are pleased to welcome Sob Story to the Kaos Podcast Series. 

Sob Story is the main collaborative project of London-based producers and DJ duo Oliver and Vilhelm. Familiar faces within the city's clandestine corners, the two have respectively cut their teeth playing prominent parties across the capital including HTBX, Judgement Hall, UNFOLD and Aria.  The Sob Story project marries the oppressive melancholy of Vilhelm's body-music sleaze with Oliver's dystopian, steely EBM. Collectively cultivating their nuanced oeuvre, the pair's sonic landscape is composed of cold electronics, lacquered drums and gleaming synths. 

Sob Story play Kaos London on Saturday 16 September alongside Soft Crash. Their first Ep Doghouse is releasing on Khemia Records in September with remixes from ANFS and Harsh Mentor.
