Beenish Pervaiz is a trained vocalist and can sing various genres with ease (classical, jazz, pop, ghazals). She has received formal training in music and is a student of the late Ustad Faiz Ahmed Khan from the Gwalior gharana. Since the early age of 8 and has won many singing awards, including the All Pakistan Music Conference and Lahore Arts Council Gold medals. In light music, she has been mentored by Madam Farida Khanum herself, and she truly cherishes this experience. She feels blessed to have accompanied Faridaji to India on one of her trips where she had the opportunity to display her singing talent in front of the living legends Mr. Jagjit Singh (ghazal maestro) and Mr. Gulzar (award winning Indian lyricist). Beenish has performed on national channels like PTV, Radio Pakistan, Geo, ARY Music and Hum TV and her tracks have been received extremely well by music composers, lyricists and the general public.
