Born in Finland and based in Berlin, Kasper G (otherwise known as Kasper Granroth) is a producer, singer/songwriter and DJ whose work and approach is always defined by colour and rhythm, whether solo or in one of their many celebrated collaborations.

Serving as the drummer and musical director for Finnish pop sensation Alma between 2016 and 2021, Grannoth’s intuition and talent has taken him around the world since his teens, first as part of the indie-rock band Constables and then as a huge proponent of electronic music. In parallel with his work in both rock and pop, he made waves in the club scene with his UK-bass jam, ‘My Heart’ on the label Casual Jam, and bringing these sounds to a wider, Finnish audience through a weekly show on Helsinki’s cult Basso Radio.

From hereon, Grannoth’s back catalogue only expanded with his musical curiosity. An organic network of creative hook-ups lead to Kasper G producing a ‘Golden Record’ (two million streams) in Finland for Vielä1 with Vesta, while across borders in Estonia, they worked with the artist Metsakutsu, contributing to the Best Estonian Rap album.

Refocusing on their own compositions for the dancefloor and further beyond, Kasper G established Lost Favourite Records in 2017, gaining instant coverage from Mixmag and DJ Mag, and since expanding to encompass music publishing, sync and sustainable merchandise. Throughout, Grannoth’s finely-tuned ear for talent and creative potential have beaten a path for collaborations with producers including Grammy-winning John 'P*nut' Harrison, while their own work with acts including Elite Tennis Club, Fella Sleep and Loverse have amassed more than 20-million Spotify streams, as well as being heard on platforms including Netflix, BBC and HBO.

At the moment a resident DJ at Berlin’s Soho House, Granroth has a unique perspective on both the underground and pop potential of one of the world’s true creative hubs. Currently road testing many original productions, some incorporating his own voice, alongside collaborations, remixes and bootlegs for a fertile 2024 on LFR and beyond, Kasper G continues to thrive wherever people are dancing.
