Kassim reached out to Brendan Cannon and CJ the Genesis for help with his first single from his upcoming album. They created a track named "Peter Sparker". The song is a narration of Kassim's high which was inspired by one of his favorite english novels, The Great Gatsby.

The song contains samples from Brenda Russell's "God Bless You" from her 1979 self entitled album "Brenda Russell". 

"Peter Sparker" was recorded by Steven Padilla, the founder of IntheMusic Recordings studio in Reston VA. Kassim and CJ worked on the song eight separate times throughout the summer before finally coming up with the right mix the day before Kassim started his senior year at Towson University.  

The song was executively produced by Marcus Moody, president and founder of the HIp Hop Orchestra, and, hip hop producer, Brendan Cannon.
