To celebrate its landmark 20th release, Monnom Black invites you to enter The World of Monnom Black II – a return trip to techno's most uncompromising landscape. The triple vinyl release features 14 hand-picked contributions from the label’s trusted collaborators alongside cutting-edge artists new to the roster; making this compilation one of the label’s most varied and innovative collections yet.

On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.
 
This release further confirms Monnom Black’s reputation for representing raw analogue music and cements the label’s place as the home of some of the roughest and classiest contemporary sounds in techno.

Edu Imbernon and Raxon: this collaboration was only a matter of time… Both based in Spain, both crafting some remarkable immersive and expressive electronica, both working on some of the most forward-thinking labels in their field. Both making their full Systematic debut right here, right now.

Two men, two tracks, two distinct sounds and narratives: ‘Vapour Trails’ takes the lead with a distinctive rolling drum arrangement that drives the track into unknown. Built up layer by layer, there’s a cool sense of mystique where key elements such as the guitar line and main chords are held back until midway when the beakdown and main pay-off bring everything together dramatically.

‘Betera’, meanwhile, taps into a brighter, more emotive sound that celebrates the Systematic signature Romboy and his troupe have developed over 15 years. Powerful, evocative and not afraid to writhe in the melodic side of techno, we guarantee this will be warming a lot of hearts and souls on dancefloors over the colder months ahead. Beautiful. We hope a future collaboration is only a matter of time, too…

PREMIERE: Edu Imbernon & Raxon - Betera (Original Mix) [Systematic]

'Spanish duo OIBAF&WALLEN's (Parquet / Onism) first EP in Univack Records is a mixture of genres, just as the label imprint is used to be.

The two original tracks (Balder & Hela), are boarding Melodic-Techno and also Progressive-House, with a dancefloor-oriented spirit, arranging dense synth layers and epic landscapes inspired by the Viking's tales.

The ukranian producer Arude (Steyoyoke / Univack) remixes Balder, in a creative, unusual Techno form, with organic sounds and clever use of the original stems.

Rising stars on the genre, Nicosia based producers, Paul Angelo & Don Argento (Movement / Dopamine), made a minimalistic progressive interpretation of Hela, with their characteristic dark ambiances and sharpened sounds.

Last original release for Univack 2019, a year in which this Spanish label launched some of their best releases till date.'

Their sets, podcasts and productions are the results of 2 different musical minds coming together in order to tell a story and take the audience on a journey.
Over the years their style has changed a lot but the main theme has always been moving bass lines that flirt with rhythmic percussions in combination with hypnotic melodies. For them it’s all about the balance between dark & light, good & evil, yin & yang.
