"La vita di un giovane, eh?"

Back in 2012, in Rome. 

I don't remember a whole lot about the trip beyond what the pictures tell me. I do remember meeting an old man on the bus. Slight limp, arched back, wise like old people usually are. 

"Folle vecchiardo", as Pindemonte would say.

This was in the thick of my depression. I was exhausted at best. 
I was also blocking the bus doors and generally being a major A-hole. 

As he was getting off, he swiftly shoved me aside. 

He briefly clutched my cheek and looked me right in the eye. With a sly grin, he told me "Ah, la vita di un giovane, eh?" 
(Roughly: "Ah, the life of a youngster, right?")

And then he was gone.

I'm honestly embarassed at how many hours I've spent covering just this one song.

This isn't the first version I've made, and it most likely won't be the last.

Catchy fucking tune, for sure.
