Digital anonymity does not always function as a binary in the modern digital age: identity unknown/ fully revealed.  Especially in the creation of art online, it is more like the selection of forms unknown to shape a new known identity.  Digital Phantoms is that kind of musical act, constantly moving and reshaping, but never really hidden.  
 Since moving to Mexico in 2020, producer/musician Vincent Gray wanted to take advantage of the ability to collaborate with anyone in any place.  He began a collaboration with long time bandmate J.R. Wicker in Atlanta and brother Ernie Gray in Nashville, TN.  EP1 became a collection of moody, prog, hiphop, and dream pop tracks, representative of the creative breadth of styles in which Gray can produce.  
 Around the same time, Vince continued producing and collaborating with his brothers, this time producing a collection of songs co-written with his twin brother Adam.  The project became a release under the moniker Twin Signals, and represented the music that the brothers absorbed together while growing up and playing in bands while in East Tennessee—primarily 60s - 90s rock and grunge. 
 By 2023, Vincent began experimenting with the songwriting process:  designing rearrangeable structures around melodies and motifs, building off the love of prog rock and Chicago post rock.  Always Already was the first fully realized LP of Digital Phantoms, containing elements of jazz, post rock, prog rock, shoegaze, and pop.  
 Digital Phantoms also continues to work with other artists in the producing and co-writing chairs.  The Jessie Leider & Digital Phantoms EP was released in 2023, and includes beautiful singing b Jessie on a mix of acoustic post-rock and textures a la Stereolab.  Digital Phantoms also helped co-produce, mix, and play on JR Wicker’s Weird Magic.  
 The new War of Regrets EP is the convergence of the greatest strengths of the twin brothers—melody and structure— and the first release under Digital Phantoms with long-time collaborators Michael Hull, who is also part of the Tennessee based music collective, Beare.



Ethelscull is Amelia Peel. Amelia began recording songs back in 1999 in her kitchen in Decatur, GA, after purchasing a Fostex X-12 four track. Amelia is also an artist of many mediums and has established herself with her unique techniques of drawing. 

influenced by art and music and a loner gypsy like upbringing, in her youth she grew up to a wide variety of 80s pop radio and new wave.  she wanted to learn how to play the drums but was given piano lessons instead. she
grew up in pop radio, 80s new wave... metal and the 60s and 70s folk rock her mother would play. honestly, it was the best time for music. teenage rebellion and skateboarding, making odd friends and the angst of running away lead her to bands like Minor Threat and 7 Seconds. All the while still living up to The Cure.
 D.I.Y punk ethics and bands like Sonic Youth in music magazines with sections dedicated to "underground" music in the late 80's set a pace of the road she would soon follow.  120 Minutes on MTV  opened yet another door to a huge array of bands that are still an influence to this day from the UK and all over.
Amelia was active in the 90's Riot Grrrl movement and wrote many fanzines. Started playing bass and guitar in bands with other girls from school. Purchasing a four track was the start of a long road of music experimentation and growth as over the years the music got a bit stronger as well as not so improvise, yet always maintaining a dark personal aura. Amelia, being a rather quiet person, found doing everything herself was more fitting than working with others. Yet, moving to Atlanta proved productive as she was now surrounded by more artists and musicians that opened up opportunities including singing backup vocals on Treephort's record 'Enchanted Forest' which was produced by London May in 2004.

Ethelscull has self-released three cds on her own DIY label Kittenwhip: ‘Thanatos’ in 2002, ‘Ribbons into Hysterics’ in 2003 and what would become her last, ‘Sentimentalia’ in 2006. 
Kittenwhip also released one experimental music compilation titled Mood-Swing Theater: Volume One which featured many experimental artists from around the globe.

Grace and Favors was the first new music from Ethelscull since 2006’s' Sentimentalia’.
