Это такие коробочки с лупами, так fm3 свои альбомы выпускают, но это ничего не значит, просто прикольный форм-фактор для альбомов и по тематике мне их гудения подходили. @radiantfutur is a live project of Ian Eremenko, a Kyiv musician known for his performances at CXEMA and Brave! Factory, as well as a number of events in Ukrainian underground clubs.

For many years Ian has been creating music in low tones, using notes of A-432 Hz as a basis. This is what he says about his approach:

«I like to use this system because it gives music a more flexible, rich and relaxed sound. I haven't seen any dance music in this tone, I wanted to go deeper into the interaction between the physics of sound and human sensations.

When I created the set for Katacult, I was experiencing melancholy and serenity, feelings that arise when watching movies from the 80s and 90s. This live is about a retro-futuristic and fantastic mood that I love.»

"Every day we are surrounded by an incredible amount of rhythmic drawings — a car overpass, train movement in the subway, sounds from the playground, the noise of the forest and even just the sound of our own steps. The sound is everywhere we are. I like to make a special mood out of it.

In writing the live, the aim was to continue to explore the state of "merry melancholy" and "nostalgia for time that did not exist". This is a new material, which is written under the impression of today's happenings; music's response to the challenges of the world."

Gena Ivanov aka Brother G @brothergdeep is a Ukrainian DJ/producer. Being one of the pioneers of electronic music in Ukraine, he started playing in clubs and made his first steps in producing back in the late 90s, influenced by hip-hop, jungle, idm, deep house, techno and trance music.

Brother G has had releases under other pseudonyms: G- Transition, Evdokeem, Target 27 and Head 278, released on various labels around the world such as: Rawax, Boe, Carpet & Snares, Tvir, Noneside, Udacha, Rough House Rosie, Denkbar, Chevengur Melody, Manuscript, Sale / Nova and his own GravitySurfer and Mysterious Russian Soul (together with Russian producer, Anton Maher).

Bother G put together a pretty funky and groovy record, moving from dub and house to techno and electro for an hour.

The new mix by Nemo @deej_nemo , one of the co-founders of @20ft_radio , Alienation show ex-host, is an esoteric thriller, enveloping with a deep mystical dream. For an hour the Kyiv-based selector populates the imaginary world with wandering between light and shadow melodies of the latest release by Iro Aka and the pulsating debut Vanessa Worm, adding percussion music by Nice Girl with whispering spells samples and in the end leading away to the psychedelically acid records by Mameen 3 and Roe Deers.

The hour-long revitalizing mix was recorded by @frankbilchik, a young DJ, founder of Kyiv-based promo group Get Socialized and producer who has recently gone headlong into creating his own material. This recording starts with easily digestible, unhurried melodies, becoming more dynamic and danceable with each new track.

The new podcast of our series is a recording made during the EXPERIMENTALITET party. In this mix @human-margareeta turns to the resonating elements of experimental electronica, metallic industrial and various club vibes, creating a tense mix that gives way to catharsis.

"The mix combines the sound of different eras of experimental music — from the work of composer Else Marie Pade from 60's and compositions by Iannis Xenakis for multiple percussion solo to the new releases of 2020 from Lyra Pramuk and Ukrainian composer Heinali. I paid a lot of attention to industrial, dark ambient and drone: projects by Genesis P-Orridge, Nurse With Wound, collaborations of Zos Kia & Coil as well as Boris & Sunn O))). Dance tracks of different genres run a red thread through the whole mix, dramatically changing the state, which eventually returns to a calm sound."

On the eve of the release of the first track on the NECHTO @nechto-records label, Chernivtsi-based musician ŸDV @denyayurchak presented his debut mix — a demonstration of the wealth of talent and readiness to take a firm position in the line-ups of big events. In these icy metallic textures and hypnotic vibes, oscillating between dance and ambient forms and sometimes hitting the golden mean between them, elements of influences on the artist's material are distinguishable — Karenn, Blawan, UVB, Planetary Assault System, Oscar Mulero, Reeko — but with his formed structure and sign. In this recording woven of unreleases he's worked on at various times, the musician highlights how dance music can convey a wide range of feelings and ideas, and how the dance floor — physically or in your mind — can be a place of both catharsis and a way to escape from reality.
