Sometimes the creation of an EP just flows smooth like a club night. This is one of those times, we have been in contact with Pulli & Chomba for almost a year now and they created this beauty of a track for us in June 2021.

We directly knew who we wanted to remix this and mytripismytrip, Kapchiz and Daniel Hokum all said yes right away. The fitting cover art comes from Dimitris Kiriakis and Niju did the mastering, could not have dreamed of anyone better. This track is made for Berlin club nights and we can not wait to listen to it for the first time on club speakers ourselves.

The human blink is controlled by the subconscious. The reflexive closing movement of the eyelids clean and protect the eyes. When we blink, the visual centre in the brain is regulated. Therefore, we do not consciously perceive this whole process and the briefly reduced incidence of light. On average, this procedure is conducted 10-15 times per minute. In moments of great excitement, joy or concentration, we can blink significantly less often. Due to the excessive focus, the blinking becomes a consciously controlled process for a certain amount time. The first Joe Carl EP on KataHaifisch contains two tracks. Both are well suited for a club setting. Strong basses create a dancing mood and hypnotic leads a dreamy atmosphere. In both songs you can hear the unique style of Joe Carl. We are enormously stoked to close this exhilarating year with an equally exhilarating release.

Sydka debuted on MŎNɅDɅ with his massive track "Night Creed" as we closed last year's chapter with PɅRŎUSIɅ IV V/Ʌ. Followed by his equally loved and successful track "Halcyon" which found its place on the label shortly after. His sound is unmistakable and is able to open up new spheres within the versatile downtempo genre. Sydkas productions are to the point, crisp and with a deep groove. Whoever has heard him once, will recognize him again and again.

Dark Hill comes with 3 Originals and has been enhanced with remixes from Nada, Urem, Rubén Coslada and Katabtu, which stylistically underline the release skillfully and are on a par with the originals in the finest way.

We're soul happy to have this talented artist with his groundbreaking sound script back on our side and are equally grateful for the stunning company of remixers on Dark Hill. We can't wait to have that sick sounds swirling us potently through the holidays & new years eve.
