Temple Tears & AiRKA audibly incorporate influences from the realm of hip-hop in their three originals: The EP's title and also main track 'Crip Walk‘ pay homage to a famous dance move from the old-school hip-hop era. This influence is distinctly heard in the tracks' gangsta-toned vibes, which evoke the gritty essence of hip-hop culture.
Iorie’s 'ZeroEightOneFive‘-remix of the main track introduces an even darker, dirtier sound that surprises with some ironic vocals. 
Offering a fresh perspective while maintaining the EP's thematic integrity, Reynecke’s interpretation takes the listener on a journey with its driving beats and melodic elements.

Adrian Schneider - Reunion (bawab Remix) [WAYU]

On October 30th, the day has finally arrived for us to present the new EP from @thea-schtu. We’ve been big fans of their sound for a while, which makes us all the more excited that this EP has come together.

The two original tracks showcase the duo’s impressive range of musical styles. The title track, "Odyssee," is marked by a deep melody and signature synth elements, while the second track, "No, What?" stands out with its groovier touches, yet remains unmistakably true to the distinctive style of thea & schtu.

The originals are complemented by equally diverse remixes from our friends @laaarmusic, @samahamusic, and @sydkasd. We’re very pleased with the result and would like to thank all the artists involved, as well as @haunted_water and @iorie for the mastering, and Kilian Van de Water for the striking artwork.

🎵 Approximately two years ago, Axon developed a deep passion for downtempo music. This inspired in him a strong desire to create a track of his own, filled with magical notes and powerful sounds. In September 2023, "Slow Dancing" came to life. The track paints a picture of slow-dancing "shadows," with its rhythms gently pulling listeners into a magical and dark atmosphere. This is the mysterious side of downtempo and we love it.
