KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als eine Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud gegründet. 
Der Ursprungsgedanke? Neuen Talenten aus der elektronischen Musikszene eine Bühne bieten. Was als Sprungbrett für Newcomer*innen begann, wurde schnell auch zur Anlaufstelle für etablierte Artists und Künstler*innen aller Art.

2020 folgte der nächste Schritt: Aus einem Podcast Projekt wurde ein eigenes Label mit Fokus auf Down- und Midtempo. Seitdem gibt’s zu den wöchentlichen Donnerstagspodcasts auch regelmäßige Releases auf allen gängigen Plattformen.

Ob Neuentdeckung oder Lieblingssound, alle Musikliebhaber*innen sind herzlich dazu eingeladen, bei uns reinzuhören, zu stöbern und zu genießen.

FELECS crafts immersive, emotionally charged soundscapes that dissolve the boundaries of reality. His productions blend the hypnotic rhythms of Italo disco with the raw energy of techno and the melodic depth of trance, resulting in a sound that is both deeply nostalgic and boldly futuristic.

Born in Mainz, Germany, and raised between Mainz and Istanbul, FELECS’ artistic identity is a fusion of cultural influences. The rich musical heritage of Istanbul shaped his sonic perspective, while his move to Groningen, Netherlands, during the pandemic introduced him to the shimmering allure of Italo disco—a genre that would become a signature element in his productions.

His distinctive style has earned recognition from industry leaders such as Aladag, Philipp Straub, Rose Ringed, Kevin de Vries, and Mita Gami. With a meticulous balance of euphoria and depth, his productions resonate across dance floors and continue to push the evolution of sound.

Now based in Izmir, FELECS stands at the intersection of nostalgia and futurism, pushing the boundaries of electronic music. His DJ sets are a masterclass in energy and emotion, seamlessly weaving together disco, techno, house, and trance into a sonic journey that captivates audiences. Whether on a festival stage or in an intimate club setting, FELECS invites listeners into uncharted musical dimensions—where the past, present, and future collide in perfect harmony.
