I’ve performed at various places in the high desert including: Snakebite Roadhouse, Red Dog Saloon, Mojave Gold, Mas O Menos, Field Station, and the famous Joshua Tree Music Festival. Andy Taylor aka "LippTrixx" began his career as a dancer, then a DJ, and eventually added promoter, producer and label owner to his resume.

His mother introduced him to disco at the age of 4 years old and he fell in love with the infectious beats and uplifting vibes of such artists as Donna Summer, First Choice and Sylvester. He began attending dances at youth centers at neighboring military bases at the age of 7, which led him to the breakdance craze of the 1980’s.

The underground rave scene in the early 1990’s introduced him to local DJ’s such as Charles Feelgood, Scott Henry, Deep Dish, Saeed Younan, East Coast Boogiemen and many more from attending events like Ultraworld, Buzz DC, Rise/Fever Baltimore and Pure Love in Richmond VA being his early stomping grounds. These experiences would fuel his passion for the underground to this day.

Andy started mixing records at the age of 20, marking the beginning of his life-long passion to create and curate the “perfect mix”. He has played gigs in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, Phoenix, Lake of the Ozarks, El Paso, Miami, Washington DC, Richmond VA, Baltimore, and Las Vegas, where he currently resides.

In 2010, he ventured into producing his own tracks and co-founded the label Big Wheel Music. He also has tracks on Tequila Trax, Soul Supplement Records, Modulate Goes Digital, Sugarshack Recordings, Fish House Music, Seven Records, Northstar Recordings, Home Again Recordings, Cabbie Hat Recordings and Dustpan Recordings and is still producing tracks today.

Andy continues to collaborate and build community with other DJ’s and artists in the scene. With residencies at Brighter Days San Francisco, Soul Kitchen Las Vegas & The Las Vegas Weekender, expressing his passion to create a unique experience on the dance floor through a mix of classic and modern selections guaranteed to get your body moving.
