Όταν την πόρτα μου χτυπήσεις κάποια μέρα
Τα παγωμένα θα κατέβω τα σκαλιά
Να θυμηθούμε λίγο λίγο τα παλιά
Που γίναν στάχτη και καπνός μες στον αγέρα

Όλα χαθήκαν κι η ζωή μας πήγε στράφι
Μας βρήκαν μπόρες μες στου κόσμου τη νυχτιά
Ποιος ξέρει η μοίρα στα κρυφά της τα χαρτιά
Τι άλλη απόφαση για μας τους δυο να γράφει

Ήσουν μια βρύση του ουρανού κι ήμουν μια στάλα
Πικρή μου αγάπη στα μπαλκόνια τα ψηλά
Μέρα και νύχτα κάναμ’ όνειρα πολλά

Some of you may think that it's too daring on my side to re-interpret this classical piece, but to me it is a pure sentimental thing, a tribute to two Masters... The first one is the author of the original, of course, I bet you have heard of him.. and his story... and another Master - my mom. She wasn't playing or singing herself, but she surely inspired my dad and me to keep playing no matter what. And I used to dare and hoped that she is listening and loves my playing and my daring. Every time I hear the original composition, I think of her.

A piece with a fascinating history. It was originally attributed to 18-th century composer Albinoni and supposedly discovered by 20-th century biographer Rema Giazotto. Later it was revealed that Giazotto had found only a small segment of the opening melody and chord structure and it is now believed he wrote most of it himself. 
However it was written, it is a hauntingly beautiful but melancholy piece. This arrangement by Jason Waldron, and performed by William Wilson. More on william at Facebook.com/wmwilsonguitar .

The touching Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi is perhaps the most famous version of the Stabat Mater, a cycle of songs about Virgin Mary. The final number he wrote when he was on his deathbed (1736). Pergolesi had in fact very dangerous TBC which was caused that he died at the age of 26.
