Within the walls of the Sage Treatment Facility, recovery takes a darker turn. Final Recovery follows Rodney — a man broken by addiction and regret — as he struggles to reclaim his life under the care of Nanny Lou, a caretaker whose twisted sense of justice distorts compassion into control.  The result is a slow-burning psychological thriller where redemption and ruin share the same heartbeat.

The soundtrack opens with “Love You to Pieces,” an original song written and performed by Cherish Lee with Shay Watson.  Featured over the film’s end credits, it begins the album on a hauntingly human note — a fragile echo of love, loss, and the emotional wreckage that drives the story.

Composer Jarryd Elias builds upon that tone with a score of haunting intimacy and simmering unease.  The opening cue, “1974 / Main Titles,” introduces the sonic palette — ghostly piano figures, tense low synths, and subtle electronic atmospheres that suggest both memory and menace.  Cues like “Transporting Rodney” and “Worried” tighten the film’s psychological tension with restrained rhythms and unresolved harmony, while “Family Issues / Stick With Me” and “Listening / What Happened?” reveal the score’s emotional core — empathy flickering through isolation.  As the story darkens, “Threatening / Heather OD” and “Fever Dream” plunge into disorientation and dread, before “Surviving” closes the arc with a faint, aching glimmer of endurance rather than redemption.

With additional music by Sean Mitchell Toole, Final Recovery (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) stands as a chilling, compassionate work — a portrait of fractured souls searching for light within darkness, rendered in music that feels both deeply cinematic and profoundly human.

TRUE FROGS - AMERICAN BULLFROG - Lithobates catesbeianus
A small-but-growing colony chorusing at night in the Promontory Ponds of Seattle's Warren G. Magnuson Park. American Bullfrogs are a destructive invasive species in the western States of the US. That a colony has managed to take up residence and thrive in an urban nature preserve is highly alarming.
The focus is shifting, moving between individual frogs in the foreground, with others audible in the background between roars. It's frustrating dealing with Bullfrogs. I love them. It's not their fault they were introduced to the Western States. They just live their lives as they come. Their ecological impact is significant, affecting population numbers of entire species of native frogs and fishes.

Canon Seraglio is an experiment of an album. I wanted to see what I could make that steered entirely clear of a recognizable genre. I decided to do away with all instrumentation, language, and style. All vocals, no words, no pitch correction. Rakugaki utterances in a mic. I think it came out sounding like music for a cult I haven't (yet) started. Enjoy.
