"The Journey" is a song about my realization that I need to learn to love myself before I can truly love anyone else well.

"Eight Track Mind" is a tune I wrote for someone who I wasn't meant to be with, but couldn't see it at the time that we were together.  I think a lot of people can relate to the idea of being with someone who they just wish were more interested in them.

This is probably the saddest tune on the e.p., but one that I hope listeners will relate to and resonate with. Most of us have gone through a break up where at the end of it all, we just have questions, and "Who Do You Think You Are" asks those questions in song form.

I wrote "Home" while sitting at my parents' piano in Muncie, IN.  It was some time in Fall 2015, and I was feeling overwhelmed with nostalgic feelings for the place where I had grown up, and could feel the weight of the changes to come in my life.  "Home" gives a brief summary of a few of the things that were on my mind when I was sitting at the piano that day.

This song isn't about any one person or situation, and isn't about me, but it's one of my favorites that I've written.

"Bonnie and Clyde"  is the first song on my new (and first!!)ep.  This love song is one that touches on the fact that when you're truly in love with someone, you have to get your hands dirty sometimes, and you're going to have some sleepless nights.
