Ratsmagic is an Auckland-based 4-piece band, with an original music style that fuses indie rock with shimmers of blues and funk. 

The band is made up of Meghan Glue, Kriston Batistich, Larn Campbell, and Olly Robinson, who together boast a unique instrumental line-up comprising of dynamic dual-lead vocals combined with seductive violin and mandolin, shimmering guitar tones, and heavy-hitting bass and drums.

Ratsmagic made its debut into the New Zealand music scene after taking out the 2012 National Battle of the Bands Championships, and used the prize to record and release a first EP.

Ever since the band has moved from strength to strength, receiving The Audience Wildcard funding in February of 2015, and playing alongside the likes of King Cannons, Hollie Smith, and Tiki Taane to name a few.

Ratsmagic has developed an impressive live show, with music that translates seamlessly from small stages to stadium crowds. The band has performed at Vector Arena, The Great Barrier Island Mussel Festival three years in a row and Rhythm & Vines in 2013. 

Since coming off a North Island tour in January, the band has continued to write catchy rock songs brimming with sensual soul and funk sensibilities.


Brisbane Indie Rock darlings The Wandering Lost are quickly cementing themselves in to the woodwork of the Brisbane music scene since forming in 2015.

The five piece first began writing together in their second year of the Bachelor of Music course at QUT. Taking inspiration from industry heavyweights like The Temper Trap, The Killers and of Monsters and Men, the band’s sound combines a mix of driving bass lines, catchy guitar licks and Blake Gannon and Elle Scott’s intertwining vocal lines to create a live set that is fast becoming a force not to be reckoned with.  

To date, the Brisbane locals have released three singles to their name and have just recently finished recording their debut EP entitled ‘Water’s Edge’ which will be available in digital and physical form from Saturday October 8.

Australian singer/songwriter.“Ayla” has achieved incredible things in her short time on the planet. 
In 2014, at just 18 years of age, Ayla released “Wish I Was” which immediately gained attention with Australian radio. The end of 2014 saw “Wish I Was” come in at #15 on Triple J’s most played list; as well as gaining traction with European radio, resulting in a distribution deal with EGO Records in Italy (Emma Louise, The Jezabels). 
“Wish I Was” became a remix staple in parts of Europe resulting in millions of Soundcloud and Spotify hits – her unique and beautiful vocal delivery was instantly attractive to club DJs and remix artists including Spada and Zwette. 
Her next two singles “Waiting” and “When The World Ends” also picked up high rotation on Triple J – Ayla then released her first EP “When The World Ends” and toured Australia – twice. 
In 2016 – Ayla performed at Woodford and The Big Pineapple Festivals, supported Kate Miller Heidke on her national tour. Her new single “Like The Other Kids” will be released in September 2016 and Ayla will tour nationally to support it. 

AYLA’s sound is often compared to artists such as Lana Del Ray, Sara Blasko and Florence and the Machine, though people commonly note the uniqueness of her voice, act and songwriting style. Her lyrics are written with intention and meaning and her voice carries pure warm tones.

Formed in November 2015, Belrose have worked hard to bring Rock n Roll back to Brisbane. Emulating Australian acts such as Thirsty Merc and Jet, Belrose play music that is energetic, dynamic and always entertaining. Born in New Zealand, August 21st, 1995 and moving to Australia at age 10, Katharin is a singer/songwriter and with a passion for music. Ever since she could talk, she has been belting out tunes to audiences. 

Having a bluesy-tone in her voice, Katharin likes to mix up genres by singing Pop/Pop-Punk creating a different, unique sound. She has performed in many bands such as, "All Within A Year", an acoustic pop/punk band. In the past years she has been in bands such as Se7en, Whiskey Chick and KODA. She is currently working on her own material to release. 

Katharin has performed at many places such as restaurants and pubs, like ‘The Zuri Bar’ playing both originals and covers to entertain.
Unfortunately she does not have an EP but there are original pieces available to download and listen to on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
