The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

At the beginning of 2019, he released his first  work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.

The 41st episode of the vurt Podcast features an hour-long set from DJ YAZI, one of the leading DJs in the Japanese techno scene. He has been active since the mid-1990s, as a member of Tokyo’s notoriously avant-garde hip-hop group called Think Tank, DJ YAZI draws inspiration from across the musical spectrum: the mentality of hip-hop, the intensity of dub and jazz, the ferocity of techno and the euphoria of house. As a DJ he moves fluidly across styles, with his sets connected by a strong focus on deep and tripped-out grooves. His attention to detail, precision, and masterful control over the decks clearly show his long-time involvement in this art form.

His work has helped to develop and redefine what it means to work with electronic music in the 21st century: although his sounds are thoroughly modern, synthesized and clearly represented, his production continues to nurture the deep roots of lore and lost mythology that have sustained human creativity for millennia.

With his personal record label, Outis, Sabatini continually goes beyond expectations by bringing his senses back to this world of automation and machines.
It has also been a major element on labels such as Stroboscopic Artefacts, Elettronica Romana (home to several releases by his 'Modern Heads' duo with Gianluca Meloni), Adam X's Sonic Groove, Prologue or NODE Recordings participating in the label's first release.

Sabatini's search for a world without self-imposed creative limitations has earned him an impressive number of partnerships with productions and remixes involving artists such as Donato Dozzy, Claudio PRC, Giorgio Gigli, Shapednoise, Luigi Tozzi, Edit Select or Teste.

We are incredibly happy to share this recording with you courtesy of one of our ultimate favorites, Claudio PRC. This 5h techno marathon was recorded at beautiful Masada in Milano at the Acquario party in April this year. 

This is what Claudio said about the Acquario collective and his relationship with them: “For me, Acquario has always been one of the most awaited and exciting dates of the year. Over time with the team we have established a very strong relationship of love and respect and the location of Masada is a truly magical place considering the fact that it takes place during the day and the crowd is among the most warm-hearted and receptive in Italy. For MNMT 382 we are very happy to have @tatsuokifukuda, a highly skilled selector hailing from Japan who has been DJing since 2011. A key figure in the Fukuoka techno scene and founder of the Broad event series, where he brings artists from Japan and abroad every other month.

His mix is a deeply psychedelic trip with his own fresh twist on the legendary Japanese techno sound, expect a lot of twisted melodies, textured & pulsating rhythms and plenty of trippy bleeps for good measure.

Shoal aka Kenny Kneefel is the freshest member of Harmony Rec. Early in the year he joined the family with fifth vinyl release of the label, which since then has raised many hands on various dancefloors and was included in numerous mixes and video streams.
After his Prague debut in Ankali on the Harmony Label Night we were sure that we need him come again.  We kindly ask him to bring his first techno live set ever to the National Library, where we threw one of the most challenging party in our history. 
It is a huge pleasure every time, when each of the acts achieves some solid musical output, delivers some heat to the crowd and the whole event has a certain evolvement. Kenny was definitely no exception - enjoy this one hour of his mesmerizing beats.
