The cover of this cult hero’s track features more beautiful strings from Harry Fausing Smith, as heard on her recent Winter release ‘Still Winter, Still Waiting”, as well as her soft, pure vocals, trademark harmonies and fingerpicking guitar style. There is no doubt that Priddy has made this song her own and her arrangement gives it an entirely new sound, whilst honouring the tenderness and simplicity of the original tune. It’s the perfect, realistic love song for a Valentine’s day in lockdown - just keep waiting, love will find a way.
