Im Sommer 2015 verbrachte ich zwei Monate (Juli und August) in der NES Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Island. Jetzt, sechs Jahre später, habe ich ein elektroakustisches Stück komponiert, das ein wenig von Island inspiriert ist. Die Komposition besteht aus bearbeiteten Perkussionsklängen und unbearbeiteten Klängen (nur wenige Sekunden) von der CD „Duo Svanni – RÆTUR“ von Hildur Wågsjö Heimisdóttir und Júlia Traustadóttir Kondrup und der CD „Sounds of Island“ von Hafdis Bjarnadóttir.

Program Note
In summer 2015 I spent two months (July and August) at the NES Artist Residency in Skagastrrönd, Iceland. Now, six years later, I created an electroacoustic composition, which is a little bit inspired by Iceland. The composition consists of edited percussion sounds and unedited sounds (just a few seconds) of the CD „Duo Svanni – RÆTUR“ by Hildur Heimisdottir and Julia Traustadottir and of the CD "Sounds of Iceland" by Hafdis Bjarnadottir.

I finished this work in January 2022

Here's a collaboration I did with a cool thunderstorm passing by.
I put a bucket, a metal tin can and a glass jar to make the rhythm and I accompanied on the flute.
After my enthusiasm got carried away ^^

With The Laugh Wood

Heterotopy is a term coined by the French philosopher Michel Foucault to indicate "those spaces that have the particular characteristic of being connected to all the other spaces, but in such a way as to suspend, neutralize or invert the set of relations that they themselves designate, they reflect or mirror ».
The mirror is, for example, heterotopic, we see ourselves where we are not, in an unreal space that opens virtually behind the surface but which, at the same time, is an absolutely real place, connected to all the space that surrounds it.

Heterotopy

Inspired by the use of silence as a powerful musical tool used by Nadir. I took some scary musical risks at 2.5 minutes. Trying to be comfortable playing some uncomfortable notes that are normally harmonically musical enemies of each other.
