Amazing. I've only heard the version that Maurice Fulton produced. This is brilliant.

Amazing to hear the original/acoustic version of this. Maurice did an phenomenal version of this track, but a remix with this with the guitars would be out of this world.

Kathy Diamond is back with a brand new album. It’s a perfect blend of glamorously dark pop, the flirty funk side of disco, strong hooks and big grooves. Seasoned experts, Keeling Lee (Groove Armada), and Rob Macdonald (Speeka/Tru Thoughts) have collaborated with Miss Diamond to deliver a full live sound into a studio album. Fans should expect to hear her signature voice, as well as elements that have yet to be heard from this celebrated singer.

Her debut album ‘Miss Diamond To You’ was released in 2007 on Permanent Vacation and produced by the great Maurice Fulton. This well received album, which received a 7.8 on Pitchfork, placed her on the map as one of the new voices of modern disco. This success resulted in collaborations with high profile DJ-producers such as Aeroplane, Boris Dlugosch, Codebreaker, and releases on Rekids and Eskimo Records.

Miss Diamond is a busy girl, to say the least. Her side project THE KDMS, with Polish producer Maximillian Skiba, has seen the release of their debut album ‘KINKY DRAMAS AND MAGIC STORIES,’ on Gomma Records, achieve critical acclaim. The album was supported by remixes from Nicky Siano, Morgan Geist and Justus Köhncke featuring Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, all of which were played in the finest clubs around the globe. The KDMS topped off the success of their debut with a massive tour throughout Asia and Europe to sold out audiences.

In addition to her studio and live work, Miss Diamond has made appearances around the world, including performances at Milan Fashion Week, We Love at Space in Ibiza, At The Laboratory – Berghain in Berlin, and Roman Abramovich’s gallery in St Petersburg.
