Tony Lelo's musical beginnings trace all the way back to Mooresville, North Carolina. Seldom at school during his younger years, he constantly traveled alongside his family gospel group. At seven years old, Lelo was playing drums and two years after had his first hit single singing, "Its never easy to say goodbye" hitting the airwaves in heavy rotation. After traveling the so-called, "Gospel Chitlen Circuit", around eighteen Lelo decided to branch into soul r&b. He tried a small talent show in Charlotte, North Carolina in which he won 300 dollars and a free paint job for his 1984 cutless."Man, at that time I felt that was one of the greatest accomplishments in my life." After, he began working as a full time guitarist for local talents. This led to an opportunity with a well known artist, Rudy Currence. His guitar cadences can be heard on many of Currence's records including his latest hit, "Cold hands warm heart." In 2006, Lelo became serious about his own career and began focusing on an album. He released, "X-Speriences" and three years later, "Mixed opinions of love". Both albums sold fairly well. His onstage charisma and audience rapport made him a hot local commodity. Performing up and down the east coast from New York to Alabama, his name began to surface around as a stand out musician and artists. In 2011 he sought out to form, "Jupiter Lane" which consists of a bassists, keyboardist, lead guitarist, drummer and Lelo as rhythem guitarist and lead singer. Most say the group is a combination of neo-soul and r&b with an alternative rock presentation. Much is to be expected from this charismatic artist and band. Whether the crowd is 200 or 200,000 Tony Lelo is sure to deliver a powerhouse performance!


Being born into a home of Mo-Town hits, 90's hip hop, and VHS camcorders, Tito knew at an early age what he wanted to do with his life.  The unique sounds of North Carolina are amplified through the passionate voice of this Race City artist.  From being the opening act for the band "Rehab" in 2009, to performing at showcases in the Underground of Atlanta, the twenty seven year old Mooresville Native is no stranger to the bright lights on stage.  With a strong love for creative writing and the ability to make music of all types, this artist makes it difficult to categorize him with any specific genre.  After finally recording one of his many written creations on a computer microphone in high school, Tito became obsessed with sharing his musical therapy sessions with others. And now, in an attempt to impact as many lives as possible, he relentlessly continues to share his story with the world in the form of music.  Inspired by life and driven by passion, this artist is one to keep your eye on.
