Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies is a Fun, FUNky, Upbeat Reggae, Rockin' Band based in Silicon Valley.

Born and raised in Fullerton California, Singer/Songwriter Katie Stump grew up in a musical family, and was encouraged to pursue music at a young age. Now with over 250+ written songs, 2 full-length produced albums, an EP produced by Grammy award winning producer, numerous songwriting awards, and ranking in ReverbNation's top 10 singer-songwriters in L.A., 21-year-old Katie Stump is quickly proving her worth amongst the most prolific singers and songwriters of today. Drawing from both pop and country/folk influences, her honest lyrics and vibrant melodies create a unique experience that pulls the listener into the beauty and vulnerability of the heart.

Beth Wood is modern-day troubadour and believer in the power of song. Beth grew up in Lubbock, Texas - home of dust storms, tumbleweeds, and Buddy Holly.  Beth fell in love with music at an early age and envisioned becoming a classical pianist. Her twelve-year-old, over-achieving self never could have imagined that she would evolve into a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, singing and songwriting coach and professional traveling songbird. Looking back, one of Beth’s favorite musical moments did foreshadow a creative future: once at a recital, after losing her place in a Bach Fugue and just making up the rest, her teacher commented, “That was a lovely piece, Beth…what WAS it??”

With a heartbreakingly expressive voice, poetic lyrics, and a unique, strong guitar style, Beth has been winning over audiences from coast to coast for sixteen years. I dig music! Play it, record it, write it listen to it! What style? Depends on my moods and they vary! I started playing folk and rock on the guitar in my early teens, then added in some classical and blues. Somewhere along the line I bought a program called "Reason" and I started getting into some electronic stuff as well as learning about mixing multi-track projects. 

For the last couple of years I've switched to a completely open source workflow. Now I'm using Ardour for my DAW as well as whole lot of other amazing open source tools. (Ask me about open source audio production if you want suggestions)

Most of what's on this profile are basically audio sketches that I hope to develop further. Maybe with collaborators???  I feel like my creativity only goes so far and other influences would benefit my work.
