Memories

I tried to mash up some influences I had while composing. It came out a Drum&Bass, glitch and jazz track. I will surely make a better mix of it, but I wanted to share the work i did until now. Enjoy!!

Un homme et son émetteur Morse : le récit d'un radioamateur à Kiev pendant la guerre. Lorsque sa famille se réfugie en Pologne, Volodymyr Gurtovy reste dans leur appartement avec pour seule compagnie ses radios et son hamster. Il bricole des antennes pour écouter les transmissions des pilotes russes ou il restaure les vieux transistors du voisinage. Une manière de s’évader à travers les voix et les ondes qui résonnent dans le black-out total.

Cicely Fell réalise des documentaires radiophoniques. Son travail s’inspire des paysages sonores auxquels elle mélange des voix, de la Sibérie au Sri Lanka en passant par les Cévennes où elle réside.
