Nic Letcher is an underground DJ & producer hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. He is the founder and curator behind The Odyssey Podcast, which he launched back in 2021. He is also co-founder of VØTV (Voices of The Void) - a collective & artist duo, including himself and Bradley Webster. The dynamic duo created a new party brand called ŌM.The music policy is strictly disco & it only happens on a Sunday, at And Club in their new garden space. 

Nic’s sound is diverse, ranging from slow wonky beats, to chuggy downtempo, silky electro,  dark disco, hints of breakbeat and raw hypnotic techno. Percussion and groove being the main focus in his performances. Driven by his passion & love for the underground, Nic promises to bring something special to the dance floor every time! Over the last few years he has featured on lineups with some of South Africa’s heavyweight artists and is making a name for himself. 

Some of his inspirations include artists like; Assumption, Damon Jee, DVS1, Luke Slater/Planetary Assault Systems ,Hitam, Ignez, Oktobr, Setaoc Mass and Truncate

Able to play various instruments at the tender age of six years, coupled with his passion to listen, create and perform music was all it took for Samuel Mkhize to find his way into South Africa's booming house industry. 

While only considering music as a hobby, it took almost a year of convincing, from a close friend for him to officially debut on Deep On Deck: September 2016 as Sam Mkhize. Since then, he's had the opportunity to play in multiple events and among some of South Africa's biggest artists such as: TiMO ODV, Mogey, audiojerk, Kilopascal, Michael Douglas, Two Tone, Thatcher, RIKAY, Nique, Bassmental, Ctrl Room and many more. His distinctive production, influenced by the likes of: deadmau5, Skrillex, Stimming, Zedd, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero,  Avicii, Jon Hopkins, Uberjak'd, Clockwork, Billy Kenny, Kyle Watson, ClassSickKwl and many more has earned him the chance to release on multiple record labels.

Sam's goal is to impact and inspire anyone willing to listen, just as the artists mentioned above did for him. He believes all the accolades and acclaim come second to the joy he's able to give people, whether you see him on stage or simply listening in.
