Katie Skinner is a 20 year old singer and producer studying a degree at Leeds College of Music. 

Katie comes from a completely non musical family and was never sure where her affinity to music came from. Training as a classical musician at the Royal Northern College of Music playing Flute, recorders and piano, Katie was always involved in music achieving a very high level, even playing in the National Youth Wind Ensemble of Great Britain. Katie always sang and wrote songs on the side as a hobby and as a way to enjoy and express herself, however this soon developed into more than a hobby and she decided to apply herself more to it. After receiving acclaim and radio play for her songs, flash forward a couple of years and Katie has studied at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and Leeds College of Music surrounded by many other talented musicians. She is part of a function band and also has recently started up a band in which to play her own compositions! Look out for her gigs and performances around yorkshire and the country.
